TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on whether they need to replace their retirement visa stamp immediately after receiving a new passport following the destruction of their original one. Several comments suggest that while it is technically possible to wait until Thursday, it is advisable to go to immigration as soon as possible to avoid issues with proof of legal residency.

Take your new passport to your local Immigration Department ASAP.

Hopefully your Embassy has given you the Letter Requesting Thai Immigration recognize your new passport.

you walk around without an official proof that you are allowed to be in the country, You can go when ever you want, but I would say do not wait to long, go as soon as possible.

What is your nationality?

Did your Embassy give you a letter addressed to Thai Immigration requesting they recognize your new passport?
