Hi need some advice about expiring passport, visa and 90-day report. So my current passport and Visa will expire on Sep 06 2021, my current stamp for 90-days report (using old passport credentials) is scheduled on Sep 30. I already got my new passport and plan to reapply for Visa tomorrow. Since I am changing my passport and getting new Visa is it advisable to also do the 90-day reporting with new passport credentials?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to manage their 90-day report in Thailand after changing their passport and visa, given that their current passport and visa will expire soon. Comments suggest that the user likely has an extension of stay rather than a visa, and that they should transfer their current extension to their new passport. Additionally, they must report their 90 days in person, and it's noted that in some cases, 90-day reporting may be handled during visa extensions in Bangkok.

If you're in Bangkok, they've been doing some 90 day reports at the time of extension, likely to reduce the number of trips to immigration during Covid. You might get lucky and they do one for you.

If I'm a betting man, you do NOT have a visa, but you have an extension of stay. You will need to transfer your current extension of stay to your new passport, and then apply for a new extension of stay.

Your 90 day report is linked to your passport number and departure card number. You will need to do your next 90 day report in person. I *DOUBT* you can do your 90 day report earlier than 15 days.

hi nope I don't have extension of stay. I have ED Visa and I will renew for ED Visa again.

Regarding 90-days report I was thinking of that too that maybe it won't be allowed to report more than 15 days on stamp but wanted to ask if in lieu of new passport like a reset of the 90-day report is given and I can report using new passport ๐Ÿ˜…

Are you sure you are applying for an in-country Non-ED visa itself again, not applying for 90days extension?

hi yes I am studying at Mahidol University here and currently doing my thesis ๐Ÿ˜… my current ED Visa (October 2020-September 6 2021 validity) is expiring and I wish to renew for my third year of study.

If your current stamp is such long (11months), you should be on extension, not a stamp directly from the visa.... Better to re-read your stamp...

That'll be an immigration office specific question ๐Ÿ™ You are out of nothing by asking.
