I have two questions and I apologize if redundant with past questions.
#1 I just received a new passport and my 90-day reporting is due. I know I need to do that in person with a new passport and I assume I need to get the Visa stamps moved into the new passport first. Is that correct?
#2 My annual Visa is up for renewal on December 11th. Is it possible for me to go next week to move the stamps and get the Visa for next year at the same time? That's 26 days before it expires. I know there is a limited window as to how far in advance you can renew. Please advise. Thank you!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the procedures for handling their 90-day reporting and annual visa renewal after receiving a new passport. They seek confirmation on whether they need to transfer their visa stamps to the new passport before reporting, and if they can apply for their visa renewal before the expiration date. Responses provide guidance on the process of 90-day reporting and visa transfer, emphasizing the need for an official document from the user's embassy for the visa transfer and mentioning that applying for a renewal within 30 days of expiration is generally acceptable.
