TM30. Condo owner. Rayong.

I expect to return to Thailand in mid-December, Bangkok, ASQ and then onto my condo in Rayong.

Can I register TM30 online myself, or must I go to the Immigration Office? (New passport).

Guidance appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about registering their TM30 upon returning to Thailand after staying in ASQ, specifically if it can be done online or if a visit to the Immigration Office is required, especially since they have a new passport. A response indicates that a visit to Thai immigration is necessary after ASQ, with additional considerations regarding the status of their previous visa and documentation from their embassy.

You will need to visit Thai immigration as soon as you have a exited ASQ quarantine or the sandbox plan.

Especially with a new passport... Do you have a letter from your home country Embassy requesting Thai immigration accept your new passport?

Do you have a visa or extension of stay in your old passport which needs to be transferred into your new passport ?

I have new non-O visa. Nothing in the old passport other than my exit stamp from 2020. UK passport.

John Robertshaw then with the new non o visa for retirement... You will need to have three months insurance as you will be stamped into Thailand for three months.

The coverage must meet the dual insurance requirements for the new Non O visa...

US $100,000 insurance which includes coverage for COVID medical care

And

400,000 Thai baht inpatient and 40,000 Thai baht outpatient medical care...

Those two together can simply be satisfied with one insurance policy which meets both requirements.

Thai agents have the policy you need.

FYI... You will not need to continue to have that insurance e

Once you obtain the one year extension of stay based on retirement from your local Thai immigration office.
