Hello, I am living in Pattaya on a Non O retirement visa and have multiple entry. I am planning to go to Malaysia next month for a couple of weeks to check it out. It will be my first trip out of Thailand since I arrived. When I return to Thailand do I need to file any paperwork or anything with immigration?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you hold a Non O retirement visa with multiple entries and plan to leave Thailand for Malaysia, ensure to purchase a Re-Entry Permit from the Thai Immigration office before your departure. It's also advisable to inquire about the TM30 filing requirement when you return, related to your residence in Pattaya. No additional paperwork is typically needed for your travel and return.

Before you leave Thailand be sure to buy a RE-ENTRY PERMIT from the Thai Immigration office in Jomtien. 1,000 Thai baht.

AND while you are in the Jomtien Immigration office, ask them IF you need to file a TM30 on your return to your home address on file with them in the Pattaya area.

Other than that there is NO added requirements for you to prep for your travel and return.

We wish you Safe travels โ˜บ๏ธ
