Hi Everyone,

I need to get a RE-ENTRY PERMIT to go along with my Non-O Retirement Visa and I'm flying out from PHUKET international airport.

CAN the RE-ENTRY PERMITS BE DONE at PHUKET AIRPORT, and has anyone had any experience as to roughly HOW LONG IT TOOK?

It says that we need to bring our boarding pass for the application, so considering checking only starts 3 hours before flight departures, I wouldn't expect it to take longer than that...

TLDR : Answer Summary
The RE-ENTRY PERMIT can be obtained at Phuket International Airport. According to user experiences, it usually takes about 15-20 minutes, and there is a special desk at the immigration counters. This desk is open 24 hours but may not always be staffed. If no one is at the desk, you can ask an immigration officer for assistance, and it should take about 10 minutes or less to process your application.

Can be done in Phuket. There is a special desk at the immigration counters. Open 24 hours but often not manned. If not ask an immigration officer and they’ll get someone to sort you out. Allow 15-20 minutes depending on how many are queuing. Will probably take you less than 10 though.

Stuart Cumming ... Thanks Stuart 🙏... Sounds pretty easy. Perfect thanks 🙏🙏🙏...

So it's at the same stage where our passport would get stamped out of Thailand?

Definitely sounds easier than going to phuket immigration...🙄

Meno Lek yes it’s at the same place as where you stamp out.

For some leaving it to the “last minute” by getting it at the airport is stressful. Immigration in Phuket Town can get busy but you can also get a reentry permit at the Blue Tree or Patong Beach offices which are generally much quieter.

I do mine at Bkk airport and it seldom takes more than 15 - 20 mins.
