I am traveling from my usual place of residence at my wife’s house in Roi Et to Phuket for a couple of month to stay in a hotel or guest house.

Do I need to report with TM31 in Phuket at the local immigration office or police station once I arrive?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are staying in a hotel or guest house in Phuket, the establishment itself is responsible for reporting your stay to the local immigration office or police station, so you do not need to file a TM31 report personally.
