One question. 

I am currently on Language school Edu visa and have valid date until march 7th.

If I am going to get DTV visa, do i need to cancel current ed visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary

The current Edu visa will be automatically canceled if you leave Thailand without a re-entry permit. However, if you plan to apply for the DTV visa, you need to apply from outside of Thailand, which makes having an active Edu visa unnecessary.

it will be automatically canceled once you leave the country without a re-entry permit. you have to apply from outside of thailand anyway! so there is no reason to have it still active once you left
