Do I need to accompany my husband to the immigration office for his visa extension?

I have a non-immigrant B visa. My husband arrived in March on an initial 90 day non-immigrant O visa (staying with family who are living in Thailand). When he goes in to get the one year stamp, do I need to accompany him? He'll have copies of all of the relevant documents, and I'll sign copies of things like my passport and work permit. I just need to know if I need to physically accompany him to the immigration office.

The user seeks clarification on whether they need to accompany their husband, who holds a 90-day NON-O visa, to the immigration office for his one-year extension. A comment indicates that the user must accompany their husband as he is applying as a dependent on their legal stay.

You MUST accompany your family member to the Immigration office when your family applies for an extension based on being dependent on a foreigner with a legal stay in Thailand (you).
