Do I need to accompany my husband to the immigration office for his visa extension?

I have a non-immigrant B visa. My husband arrived in March on an initial 90 day non-immigrant O visa (staying with family who are living in Thailand). When he goes in to get the one year stamp, do I need to accompany him? He'll have copies of all of the relevant documents, and I'll sign copies of things like my passport and work permit. I just need to know if I need to physically accompany him to the immigration office.

You MUST accompany your family member to the Immigration office when your family applies for an extension based on being dependent on a foreigner with a legal stay in Thailand (you).
