Hello all,

I would like to ask about the yearly extension of a non-immigrant O visa (Thai spouse). When we apply for the yearly extension at the immigration office, it is necessary that the Thai spouse (Thai wife in my case) accompany the applicant to the immigration office as well? Or can the applicant apply at the immigration office on his/her own (if we have all the documents required)?

I look forward to hearing any advice on this matter.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The applicant is advised to have their Thai spouse accompany them when applying for a yearly extension of the non-immigrant O visa. It is also recommended to visit the Thai Immigration office beforehand to obtain a list of necessary documents for the extension process.

Yes...take your Thai wife with you when you apply for your one year extension based on marriage.

Suggest you stop into the Thai Immigration office before you apply and pick up their list of requirements for your extension.
