Ho all. On a 90 day, Non-O, single entry obtained in the UK.

If i get a re-entry permit and leave and re-enter before the 90 days is up, will I get an additional 90 days or only up until when the original 90 days was due to end? In/out via plane. Thanks in advance for any info.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster inquired if obtaining a re-entry permit and leaving Thailand would grant them an additional 90 days on their Non-O visa. The replies clarified that the original 90 days stays intact, and re-entry does not reset the duration. An additional question about upgrading to a 1-year visa was raised, highlighting the current restrictions compared to previous options.

Single entry, you can't extend the date on your entry stamp regardless of using a re-entry permit.

One more question, is there no way to upgrade the visa to a 1 year? Used to be able to get a 1 year multiple entry in UK but no longer an option when applying.

@Steve *****
yes you can extend if you meet the requirements for the extension, you will need to get yourself a bank account as you arrive and then deposit 800k baht in it for at least 2 months before applying for the extension, also a phone number and resident certificate from immigration (using TM30 from your accommodation). Then off you go!!

You will only keep the original date you stamped in on. It's doesn't reset the 90 days each time you re-enter

Only the remainder of the 90 days.
