We are a french family and I have a non immigrant B visa based on work permit with a 1 year extension multi entry until end of November 22. My dependents have same. TM 47 are done in time.
Do I need to ask for re-entry permit at airport if we leave Thailand for 1 month this summer ?
Until this morning I thought I had nothing to do as my 1 year extension was with multi entry.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A non-immigrant B visa with a multi-entry extension requires a re-entry permit if you plan to leave Thailand and return. All dependents on the same visa status will also need a re-entry permit. This is necessary despite having a multi-entry visa, as it does not automatically allow re-entry without the permit.

Everyone in your family will need a re-entry permit if they are leaving and returning with you. A single re-entry permit costs 1000 baht.

ALL extensions inside the country (that you get from the immigration office) are sold as NO-ENTRY 😮
That's because you're already INSIDE thailand when you get them
IF you got your yearly extension you'd need to BUY a re-entry permit after that. They are two completely different things

totally GOOD you hold a multiple re-entry permit good until Nov 30 2022 (the same date as your current extension of stay) You can exit/re-enter the country as many times as you want (as long as you meet what ever entry requirements are in effect when you come in) and each time you enter you'll be stamped in until Nov 30 2022 <- the date your current extension expires
