TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the need for a multi-entry permit while holding a Non-OA retirement visa in Thailand, which expires in November 2021. Comments clarified that the Non-OA visa is typically a multi-entry visa, meaning the user should not need an additional entry permit if they plan to leave and return before the visa expiration. However, they may need to complete certain requirements for re-entry, such as obtaining a Certificate of Entry (COE) due to travel regulations.

No, the OA is issued as a multi entry visa.

No. OA visa is multiple entry.

@Janin *****
You Dont. Post a pic of it.
Janin ******
@Steve ******
no you have single and multiple OA!
Steve *******
@Janin *****
Nope. The Non Imm OA visa is a multiple entry visa.

@Janin *****
not in UK... multiple entry is standard
Steve *******
@David *****************
Not anywhere. Multiple entry is standard everywhere.

@Steve ******
, I don’t know in which country you live. But in Belgium you can choose between single( which I have)and multiple OA.
Steve *******
@Janin *****
You CANT not in any country. You're confusing the Non Imm OA and the O visas. The Non Imm O is available as a single or multi entry. The OA visa is multiple entry only.

@Janin *****
no you can’t. You can choose between a Non O visa (single entry or multiple if they sell those) or the Non OA which is a year long multiple entry visa. Doesn’t matter where in the world it is obtained (has to be your home country) it’s always a multiple entry visa.

Thank you for the information.

If your on your second year you need a re entry permit a single will do as long as your allowed back in before the visa expires

With that visa you’re good to leave and return to Thailand as many times as you care up until November 2021. Unfortunately these days re-entering requires all the hoops of a certificate of entry, ASQ hotel quarantine and the like. Jump through all the hoops to get back in and you’ll be stamped for 365 days.

If you as mention already have a multiple then you won't need anything

Non O-A is a multiple entry visa
Kathy ****************
From US you HAD to get multiple (5) entry...
Janin ******
@Lee ******
,not correct! I have OA single entry!
Lee *******
@Janin *****
not from Australia only multiple entry
Kathy ****************
With the OA retirement you are required to get multiple entries... US $ is 60.00 or 200.00

Do it at airport i just did it.

Might as well just get single re entry not multiple. Its 1400 baht for Single or 4000 baht for multi entry.
Steve *******
@Michael *******
No need for re-entry permit. The OA visa is multiple entry.
Janin ******
@Steve ******
, no it’s not! There is single and multiple OA visa!
Steve *******
@Janin *****
You're wrong. There's NO single entry Non Immigrant OA visa.
Janin ******
@Steve ******
, I have one!
