Hi, I am going to Thailand on the 24th of November and leaving the country on the 23rd of December. In that period of time I am also planning to fly to Vietnam and then comeback to Thailand. Do I need a special multiple entry visa? If yes, do I apply for that Visa on my first arrival in Thailand? Could someone explain to me how it works and whats the process?

Or can I take the single entry visa two times?

P.S.

Im a Lithuanian

TLDR : Answer Summary
As a Lithuanian passport holder, you can enter Thailand on a 30-day visa exempt entry, which is a free entry stamp. This means you do not need a special multiple entry visa for your planned trip to Vietnam and return to Thailand. You can enter Thailand for 30 days on the visa exempt status, leave for Vietnam, and then return to Thailand for another 30 days under the same visa exempt entry policy.

You sure didn't leave yourself much time to do anything visa wise if you did need a visa 🙁

Thankfully for you, as a Lithuanian passport holder get in to thailand on what's called a 30 day visa exempt entry (a 30 day free entry stamp). (y) it is not a visa, it is not anything but a free entry stamp for 30 days

You shouldn't have any issue entering on a 30 day visa exempt, then leaving, coming back on another 30 day visa exempt entry stamp..

Hi Tod, thanks for the answer. Yes, I know that not much time left, but I was aware that Lithuanians don’t need a visa.

The main concern is, does there need to be some time gap between entering on the 30 day visa exempt? Because I will be in Krabi 1 week, than go to Vietnam for 1.5 week, and then fly to Chiang Mai

there is no 'gap' required between visa exempt entries

You shouldn't have any issue with your travel plans, sounds like something a tourist would do (y)
