Do I need a re-entry permit for my DTV visa when exiting Thailand?

ORIGINAL POSTERHi folks! This is my first exit and entry flying to Hanoi and back from Don Muang Airport. Since I hold a DTV visa, do I need to go to the Re-Entry Permit Counter at the Airport before immigration and get a single entry (1000bath) or a multiple entry ( 3800bath) permit?? Also, do I need any of the TM forms? Any tips will be super helpful, flying out tomorrow.
