Hey there everyone,

is it true that if you leave after 180 days and then you return, you again ca. Have to pay 300€?

In my opinion, you only have to pay for DTV once.

Thank you for your replies

Hallo zusammen,

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus is that the DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) fee is a one-time payment, and returning after 180 days does not incur an additional fee. However, questions remain about extensions and related paperwork.

No new payment on re-entry, many people left/re-entered already and can confirm this. The fee is a one time fee. Another thing is the extension inside the country... not clear yet what exactly will happen about paperwork and price, we have to wait a little bit more. The oldest DTVs are just 102 days old... so... no extensions yet...

You can get a 180 day extension at immigration. After that, leave, come back and reset.

Nobody has ever made an extension on DTV yet, because the Visa ist just 102 days old. There are no official announcements from the Immigration yet, no known details, but you knows it for sure...? Okay... but I dare to doubt that...

P.S.: It's not even officialy considered as a "Tourist Visa"

I cannot find any official statement about this.

In some Thai newspapers I read there will be more requirements.

there's NO official statement from Thai Immigration for the 180 day extension at your local Thai Immigration office. We are awaiting an official statement. And it's possible the requirements could vary between Thai Immigration offices in Thailand.
