Can the Thai embassy have access to TM30 records and possibly refuse a non-b work visa application for late submission of the form?

Thanks 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai embassy does not have access to TM30 records, and late submission of the TM30 form will not affect your non-B visa application at a Thai consulate abroad. The TM30 is a landlord's responsibility, and the processes for visa applications are managed separately by different government entities.

TM30 isn't even your responsability. It's a mandatory report for the landlord or host.

Only the last/current TM30 counts. No history check

Still wrong, embassies and consulates have no way of checking any TM30 status. And, they don't ask for one.

so as I understood, the fine will be given to the landlord right? But the missing days between the last TM30 and the new one (around 10 days delay) can be a problem if I have to go to immigration and get my new stamp? Can they ask me where I was in those days?

no one will care about you having "missing time" between the two places you stayed 😕 you need a TM30 filed where you're staying when you apply for the extension (at most offices) That's it

Wrong information: this is from the Immigration Act:

Section 77: Any person who fails to comply with Section 38 shall be liable to a fine not exceeding two thousand baht. However, if such person is the manager of a hotel, he shall be liable to a fine of not less than two thousand baht and not exceeding ten thousand baht.

Meaning a private host is treated different then a professional manager. The manager is getting a higher fine because its his job.

No word of any responsability of the foreign alien.

I know English is difficult, but "Any person who falls to comply with section 38" means everybody, not only Thai passport holders

Is there any wording in section 38 about a responsability of the alien? NO

And its any landlord or host not limited to Thai passport holders.

YES, if you try to read it correctly, but for those who love to bend the rules claiming they are foreigners or aliens who do not understand Thai language or English it may change into the Immigration Is going to pay you 2.000 thb if you are not registered.

Or the possessor, which is typically the renter.

nope, late filing a TM30 wouldn't affect you apply for a visa at a thai consulate in another country at all. Two different gov't entities, INSIDE thailand things are run by the Immigration Division of the Royal Thai Police and outside the country (at the embassies and consulates) things are run by Ministry of Foreign Affairs

so at the airport immigration they could ask me about the form or do they just check if I got the e-visa papers?
Tod *********
@Manuel ****
no they could not ask you about the form because you can't file a TM30 until you get to where you're staying

They will want to see the print out of your eVisa and your passport
