Is the TM-30 receipt now a mandatory requirement for a Non-B visa renewal? Like, will Immigration refuse to renew my visa if I don’t have it, or will it just be a fine?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM-30 receipt is now a mandatory requirement for renewing a Non-B visa in Thailand. According to several forum users, if you apply for a Non-B extension at the Chaengwattana Immigration office and do not have a TM-30 receipt, your extension will be denied until the receipt is filed by either you or your landlord. It's important to check with your local immigration office for specific requirements, as some locations may handle the TM-30 differently.
I can say with 100% accuracy that IF you use Chaengwattana for your Non-B extension and don't have a TM30 receipt you won't get an extension until you or your land lord files one.
The only people who are not being asked for TM30 receipts at this time for Non-B extensions are the ones that use the Cham Churi One Stop Service Center.
