TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the new DTV visa for Muay Thai, with expats reaching out to the Thai consulate in Singapore for information. Many report that the DTV visa details are not fully available yet, leading to uncertainty about the application process. Some expats have successfully applied in Jakarta, sharing their experiences and requirements, which typically include a Certificate of Employment, portfolio, and a bank statement. The need for in-person applications at some embassies and the process of retrieving visas is also highlighted.

Did you apply for the remote work option? They email you the visa or you have to go back in person to pick it up ?

: Yes, your passport will be kept with the Embassy for 3 days. If you see the visa stamp when you collect it = approved. If no visa stamp = rejected.

I emailed them as well, they said they received the information only yesterday and they need some time to understand before opening for application. Check with them next week. Currently, in South East Asia only Thai Embassy in Jakarta and Vientiane are accepting DTV application.
