Has anyone tried to get the DTV in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam? It’s one of the closest embassies to Thailand but there isn’t anything on their website relating to this new visa, and they don’t seem to be responding to calls/emails.

I'd of thought the Embassy in Vientiane or consulate in Kota Bharu are the closest to Thailands Borders ...?

But obviously depends if you're already in Thailand or not...

Yes, they have posted updates on their Facebook page and they have updated their visa costs on their formal page, which now shows DTV at $400 USD

I saw someone post today that the embassy in Cambodia changed their visa processing time to 6 days on the same day they the DTV released. If that's the case and they accept applications for DTV, you'll need to stay for over a week to apply.
