TLDR : Answer Summary
The ability to apply for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) at any Thai Embassy may vary depending on the embassy's policies regarding non-resident applications. It is advisable to check with the specific embassy for their rules. Responses indicate that some embassies, like those in Korea, may allow applications for US passport holders online, whereas others may have different requirements.
Anyone done it in Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia or Korea yet? Korea looks like US passport can file online. I emailed and asked how long to process and waiting for an answer.

You have to check with the embassy. Some accept applications from non-residents and some do not.
