Hi, I've made a border run in Mae Sai so I have 30 days exemption visa, I have a French passeport. I plan to do a 30 days extension of stay in Chiang Mai immigration, do I need the TM30? If yes is one night in hotel enough?

Thanks for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, holding a French passport and currently on a 30-day visa exemption after a border run at Mae Sai, inquires about the need for a TM30 form to apply for a 30-day extension of stay at Chiang Mai immigration. A comment suggests that an address may not be required for the extension based on visa-exempt entry.

As far as I know you do not need an address to get the Extension of Stay based on a Visa Exempt Entry
