Can I submit a 90-day report late on a non O-A visa in Thailand?

Hello. Hope you all are well.

My OH is on a non O-A visa and arrived in LoS on 31/10/19. Is it ok to do the 90 days' report on 4/2/20 (approx day 94) so he does not have to do another one before he leaves on 30/4/20?

Also I have done the address notification online (not via an app) on time but it appears I chose Britsh (HK) in error. The PC system does not show nationality so I was unaware. Now that I got the right app after changing country to Thailand on Play Store, I only just saw my mistake. The printout does not show nationality either. Will/could this be an issue? IO Office is Petchaburi (Tha Yang).

Last but not least, if my OH is to come back to Thailand with the right kind of health insurance, he can do so until 12/9/20. Is this correct.

Thanks so much in advance and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the timing for submitting a 90-day report for their partner on a non O-A visa, as well as issues related to an incorrect nationality selection during an online address notification, and the requirements for returning to Thailand with health insurance. Responses emphasized the importance of timely reporting to avoid fines, ensuring correct documentation with the immigration office, and the certainty of health insurance for re-entry.

As far as the health insurance, no one really knows quite how it's gonna work out. I'd say tell them to watch the tiny part of the inter-web that is thai related and see what people post about their experiences.

As for the last question, I meant to ask about the last date he can enter. Not at all worried about the unknown as my OH is not yet affected. Thanks.

The 90 day report due date for someone who entered the country on Oct 31st is Jan 28th 2020.

Seeing as it'd be the FIRST 90 day report (meaning you cannot use the online system) you would need to do a 90 day report in person. You can do that from 15 days before down until 7 days AFTER the due date of 28th Jan.

Okay, lets address the questions one at a time.

First on the TM30 online program PAY ATTENTION. You need to get the choices right. It's unlikely to affect you at this time BUT get it right next time you come into the country.

#1......NO...do not be late. It will be a fine of 2,000 Thai baht if filed late. Can file 15 days before or up to 7 after.

But weekend days count. The first day of arrival counts as day #1 .

They strictly follow this...DO NOT BE LATE.

#2.....make sure your local Thai immigration office has the correct TM30 on file ..best to ASK THEM.

#3...IF he has purchased an approved Thai health insurance policy and its certificate of coverage has been correctly loaded in Thai Immigration computer for him..yes he will be OK til end of his permission to stay date stamped in his passport.

/20 My OH returns to England and will be back to Thailand in either Sept or Oct 2020. This is the first year on his first non O-A visa.

Because a reasonable and decent travel/health cover from the UK is already in place for us both, depending on the new insurance requirement (and we are waiting for things to pan out as admins here suggest), my OH may try to come to take advantage of the second yr of the same visa or will start afresh by gettinv a non-O from London and change to marriage visa(I am Thai) or retirement visa in Thailand. He can only spend 6 months in Thailand yearly.

Sorry about not giving you all info and not using the right visa terminology.

Thanks very much for your advice :)

it all depends on if its in the first year or added year of the O-A. Thanks again for your helpful replies. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sorry but big part of the question is what happens in April and September 2020. Way to far ahead in the future

if in first year of his O-A visa its most likely multiple entry...and as reenters will be stamped in for either one year from arrival date if its his firsr year of the O-A or stamped in for the current permission to stay date already in his passport. And if its his second year of the O-A he will need to buy a reentry permit before he leaves.

@James *******
also as he's leaving and re entering must he not do so by valid until date on visa?
James ********
@John *********
Oops...my error.

He has up to 7 days to file 90 day report...

15 days before and 7 after. Thank you for catching my error๐Ÿ˜‰

I thought you had 5 days grace if reporting in person?
