Can I print an existing TM30 or do I need to file a new one for my visa extension in Thailand?

Hi, I have my annual visa extension coming up next month but can’t find my paper copy of my TM 30. I went online to try and print it off but I can’t seem to find how 🙈

Is it possible to print off an existing TM30 from the immigration portal? Or do I have to do a new one?

We did go away for a few days at new year within Thailand.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on printing an existing TM30 form after losing the original paper copy. It is explained that TM30 data can only be retrieved within 7 days of filing; if older, a new TM30 must be filed. Instructions for filing a new one and exporting the PDF for printing are provided. Additionally, there are discussions about whether the TM30 is necessary for certain visa types and the process involved in filing and retrieving documents in the immigration system.

I never show my TM30 and they have never asked for it when renewing my 1yr marriage visa. I have it on hand in case. The same for my 90 days report. It must all be in their system.

Is this for BKK immigration? Do you even need a TM30?

Once you get your new TM30 (yes required if you’ve stayed elsewhere, from landlord if you rent)) the copy service at immigration is awesome. You just text to them in WhatsApp and get it right then and there

It doesn’t come via email. A 90 day report online will send an email but the TM30 is just a static database entry. It’s either filed or it isn’t.

You file online and then go back and search for the filing. As
@T**
mentioned you can only go back 7 days to search. If longer than that file a new one.

Once you find the filing click the little magnifying glass to see your data and near the bottom of the screen there is a button that says “export”. Click that and you’ll get a pdf file that you can print as proof of filing.

you're confusing a 90 day report (TM47) with a notification of foreigner in residence (TM30)

you get an email with the PDF for 90 day reports when they're approved

You download/print your own TM30 receipt from the online system once you file one

Yes as I stated the online TM47 (90 day reporting) sends emails. The TM30 reporting does not.

Unfortunately you can only retrieve TM30 online data up to 7 days after it was filed, so you should file a new one then export/print that A4 PDF file
