Can I take a flight to Phuket outside the sealed flights if I'm transiting through Bangkok?

This article states that transit from Bangkok will be allowed from 2 sealed flights. However, I've got a flight other than that in this article. Will they allow me to go to the Phuket sandbox? Or will they allow me to buy a ticket for one of those flights once I arrive in Bangkok? Or can I buy one of those tickets now and somehow connect it to my ticket?

Answer summary

The article discusses Bangkok Airways' new flight schedule to Phuket, which is limited to certain sealed flights. Users express concern about whether passengers with tickets not on these flights can still travel to the Phuket Sandbox. The consensus is that unless the flight is booked on one of the listed sealed routes, travelers will not be permitted to continue to Phuket after arriving in Bangkok.

Short answer is NO.

If you did not book a single ticket, with one of the listed flights included, you will be getting off the plane in Bangkok.

You need to either have your ticket rebooked to meet the guidelines, or you need to change your arrival plans to Bangkok.

if I take the chance and they dont approve, will I be able to board the flight to bangkok and pay for an asq hotel there on the spot via cash in bhat?

I think you'd be very lucky if you were allowed to board your flight to BKK if you weren't approved.

maybe. They could also just deny your entry and send you back.

It's also possible the airline won't let you board at all since they're going check all your paperwork again.

Probably no. But it could change at any time.

I sent the asq.in.th agents my flight info and they approved me for a Thailand Pass for the sandbox program.

If they don't approve, will they let me take an ASQ hotel in Bangkok from there then?
