Hi Everyone,

Looking for some advice. Travelling to BKK 5th November then I have booked a flight from BKK > Phuket which I was hoping to do my 1 night ‘quarantine’ there but from things I’m reading I may not be able to and may have to quarantine in Bangkok instead. Any advice? Thanks

Answer summary

The user inquires about the quarantine process upon arriving in Bangkok with plans to travel to Phuket. Commenters clarify that direct transit from Bangkok to Phuket is not allowed, advising that the user must either quarantine in Bangkok for one night before flying to Phuket the next day or fly directly to Phuket and quarantine there.

You cannot transit via Bangkok to Phuket. You either do a one night “quarantine” in Bangkok and fly the next day to Phuket or fly direct to Phuket and do the 1 night there.

and in some cases it's 2 nights due to the flight arrival times.

I have to do 2 nights as arriving at 8pm

that may change in the next few days with the new “Thailand opening up” but they are the current rules as of today.
