So I have had plane tickets to bkk for a while for feb 18th, but never got the Thai Pass. Now with the testngo option not offered, how do I schedule to go from bkk to Phuket? Is there a quarantine area I have to stay in at the airport while I wait to go to Phuket? Are there special “covid” planes separate from people who have already been cleared to travel?

Sandbox is still 7 days? Does that time start when we check into hotel in Phuket?

I’ve been reading and reading and just want to try to get a clear answer. Lots of different things that have got me all confused. 🤦‍♂️

Thanks for any help! 👍

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on travel from Bangkok to Phuket, having purchased tickets for February 18th without obtaining a Thai Pass. They inquire about quarantine requirements upon arrival in Bangkok, the existence of COVID-specific flights, and details about the Sandbox program. Responses indicated that after February 1, 2022, the Test & Go program has resumed, requiring a two-night SHA hotel stay, with options for travel to Phuket following specific flight routes.

Test & Go resumes today

You have to do two nights in an SHA plus extra hotel. Day 1 & Day 5

You could do one day in Bangkok on arrival and do your day 5 in Phuket.

Or you can purchase tickets to Phuket but has to be one of two flights by Bangkok air.

(Will find link for this now not sure exactly how it works)

this is great news! I will have to start doing more reading now to find out all the rules with the 5 day testing process. Wondering all the rules of where you can and can’t go. 🤔

Day 5 has to be in certified hotel and you have to stay there until you get the results.

Previously the planning for second test was choatic

sounds like exactly what I’ve been reading. I appreciate all your help and info. I think I only have 1 more detail and then I will start booking hotels! I had Covid the first week of January. Not sure what paperwork I will need for that. I only have digital results from my doctor. Not sure how that will affect any of my tests or testing process.

not sure what the medical certificate stating I’ve recovered means. Lol. I’m still alive and have no symptoms. Been back to work for a couple of weeks. Just not sure on paperwork. Still hunting though! 👍

yeah, mostly just if you test positive there, but not a lot about if you already had it within 3 months. I’m still reading though! Honestly was about to give up and cancel until I heard the test & go was back as an option. Not I’ll be doing a lot of reading! Lol.

Thank you for the help!
