Hello everyone, I am a non O visa holder and am on an extension.

I got my reentry permit at BKK and am now in Langkawi Malaysia.

My question is can I get another reentry permit at the Koh Lipe (Thailand) ferry terminal if I was to do a day trip there from Langkawi. I will travel back to Langkawi and enter Thailand in a few days by air as per my original travel arrangements.

Would love to hear from anyone who jas achieved this.

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Non-O visa holder inquired about the possibility of acquiring a reentry permit at the Koh Lipe ferry terminal after obtaining one in Bangkok and traveling to Langkawi, Malaysia. Community responses indicated that reentry permits typically cannot be obtained at land borders and must be acquired at Immigration Offices in advance. Additionally, the validity of the visa stamp (single or multi-entry) was questioned, pointing out that if it's a single entry, the visa process must be restarted.

Usually you cannot get re-entry permits at land borders, you need to go to the Immigration Office in advance

Do you have a multi-entry stamp or a single-entry stamp valid?

If not, you have to start again your Non-O process.

I only got a single entry... schoolboy error and lesson learned.

It wasn't in my plan to visit Koh Lipe but I was hoping I could join a couple who are going.

Never mind... thanks for your response

try to come in and see what stamp you get.

If visa-exemption 30 days, hurry-up to ask for 90 days non-O and start your process again.
