So in 4days I'm going to Vientiane to do a tourist visa. I've read that we need a photocopy of the Laos' visa and stamp. My question is : is it acceptable if the Laos' stamp is on a different passport than the Thai tourist visa? I want to enter the country with my French passport and comeback to Thailand with my tourist visa on my Belgian passport.
Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user plans to travel to Vientiane to apply for a Thai tourist visa using their Belgian passport, having entered Laos with their French passport. They seek clarification on whether the Laos entry stamp needs to be in the same passport as the one used for the Thai visa application. Comments suggest varying experiences on the matter, emphasizing the importance of confirming with consulate staff.
If you were to fly into Lao I believe you could stamp out of thailand on your french passport, then get the lao visa at the airport on your Belgian passport and then use it to get the thai visa at the consulate so you could enter thailand on the Belgian one.
Mmm then I think I will not play with this and go with one passport all along. Just to be safe. But if I don't forget I will ask the person at the counter if it's allowed.
There are reports of people doing this and there are reports of people NOT being able to do it. I think it's totally gonna depend on the person at the thai consulate on whether they will let you do it or not.
IF you try it definitely report back on how it worked out okay?
