Hi ! I received my new passport recently and I am flying to Kuala Lumpur next week for a few days. At the moment my non-B is in my old passport. I am flying to KL for a quick holiday and to get a new tourist visa. I have to fly out with my old passport to cancel my non-B. Do you think I will be able to enter on my new passport without having any problems as I will have a brand new tourist visa? Someone already recommended that I fly out and in on my old passport and once I'm back I just get my tourist visa transferred which is must easier than getting my Non-B transferred? Whats the best option here :-) Thanks in advance
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether they can enter Thailand with a new passport while their non-B visa is in their old passport, as they plan to obtain a new tourist visa during their travel. Responses indicate that there are complexities in transferring visas, and it's suggested to potentially use both passports during their exit and entry to Thailand. Additionally, there are clarifications on the difference between a non-B visa and extensions of stay.
