Hi, have just arrived in Thailand, I have non o visa from London 800k in kasikorn bank been sitting 7 months, my bank branch is in pattaya, but I will be applying for 12 months extension in nongkhai immigration, will kasikorn in nongkhai be helpful and give me bank statement I need for visa tia

It’s best to open the account in the same city you live in.

I’ve heard Thai banks sometimes tell you to go where you opened the account to do certain things.

You can. It cost me 200 baht in kasikorn. I've done it a couple of times. Once I got it straight away and the second 2 days to wait. Hope this helps. You've definitely chosen the right bank.

Do you have the app? You can get the statement from the app sending to your email.

Press Banking, the icon just below Transfer on the left side. You can get the past 6 months statement.

you can get 12mths of statements print out but will the IO accept that statement (without the stamp from bank) is another thing .....some IO is easy and some are not ....CW bkk only accepts statements with stamp

Different city but my branch was Pattaya and my extension was being done in BKK and it was not an issue.
