How can I extend my non-O multiple entry visa while currently outside of Thailand?

I have non type O multiple entry visa based on having a child in Thailand, i did this online last November which was easy and straight forward. As i am now nearing end of this visa i read that i do extension? I am currently out of Thailand until the visa expires so don't belive TM7 extension in Korat is available to me does anybody have good idea of best way forward, do i just submit a new online form? Any good input be appreciated. TiA Barry

If you're back where you got the original visa, it should be easy to follow the same process again as long as that visa met your needs over the previous year.

then you can't do an extension. You need to apply for a new visa

as i said is was done online, prerequisite is being out country tho for that, i can do online just get confused with extension and not back before expires as stated above
