Hi all, I’m currently on a none immigrant O visa, I’ve already opened a bank account with the required sum. My question is once the funds are seasoned (2 months) would I be able to apply for the year extension or do I have to wait until couple of weeks before my current visa runs out, just that I managed to open a bank account on my second day in Thailand.

They told me today that I can only do this in the last month of my visa. This is on koh Chang

I opened a bank account on the 2nd day . Money has done its time and I am applying for my ext now no probs

Every immigration office will accept a non-immigrant extension when you have 30 day or less left, and some will accept it when you have 45 days or less left. So you will be well past that by the time your funds are done seasoning.
