TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on obtaining a Non-O marriage visa, believing they can apply from the UK for a 90-day visa to marry in Thailand and finalize the process at a local immigration office. Community members provide insights suggesting it's possible to apply from the UK, but also recommend considering a visa exemption for easier processing if the user decides to marry first and apply for a Non-O visa in Thailand. They emphasize the importance of understanding the implications of visa type changes and the necessary financial requirements for the visa.

Get your non o 90 days in uk. So much quicker. I recently got married in phuket. Came in on 60 day tourist. My application gone in at immigration. Taking a life time!!

Can you if possible just keep using the 90 days return home and apply again for 90 days rather and so on as I will be getting married april and will be going home for a month in-between each 90 days thanks and sorry for jumping in on this post

Yes you can apply for a 90 days Non O based on marriage from the UK and do one year extension of stay based on marriage in Thailand within these 90 days.

If you’re not ready to apply for a Non O based on marriage from UK, it’s probably easier to come on a visa exemption and apply for a Non O based on marriage in Thailand as it’s not easy to change reason for extension of stay the first year. (From Non O based on retirement to Non O based on marriage) It could be an issue to open a bank account and bank the required 400K baht.
