do you know if you can use the stamped passbook way of having your statement for making the yearly extension instead of waiting a week for a printed copy
Answer summary
To successfully extend your visa in Thailand, it's essential to provide the required documentation, including a 12-month bank statement, a letter from your bank, and an updated passbook on the day of your application. Most comments indicate that online statements are generally not accepted, and you may need to conduct a transaction on the day of your application. While some banks may process requests quickly, it's recommended to prepare all necessary documents well in advance to avoid delays.

I get bank letters, 12 months transactions printout & updated passbook day before I go to immigration to obtain 12 months renewal on stay (aka retirement visa). I use SCB , never had a problem in 22 years except self created ones.
No you need two letters from your bank one a 12-13 month statement and your bank letter also an updated bankbook the day you go,last year I requested a 12 month statement off of Bangkok bank App it took a day I printed it and it was fine
I only needed my updated bank book plus bank letter when I extended my retirement visa at Jomtien immigration 2 months ago. It's been the same for the last 8 years
Grahame Auty sounds like you keep the 800K in your account. If you ever switch to using the 65K per month method you’ll most likely find that you also need a 12 month statement from the bank and possibly bank statements from your home country.
Krungsri did it for me in 10 minutes or less… My passbook I show my balance and every month a 65k+ deposit and a withdraw… that will establish my record too
The bank will not handout the bank-letter without your 12 months statement and you need both (plus a updated copy of your bankbook the day of doing your EOS).
