Hi Guys, need some advise...I used to stay in Bangkok and settle all visa issues at MTT and my last visa extension was done in MTT (Covid extension with Embassy Letter) which allow me to stay till 30th November.

My question is: which immigration should I go to if I wanted to extent due to unable to travel due to covid situation as I just moved to Mahachai, Samut Sakhon a month ago.

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on extending their visa in Thailand after relocating from Bangkok to Mahachai, Samut Sakhon. They previously extended their visa at MTT in Bangkok due to Covid-19. Responses indicate that they should visit the local immigration office in Samut Sakhon, but some comment that extensions must typically be processed at the immigration office where their original visa was issued.

I can add one thing, no one at Samut Sakhon Immigration speaks English, if they do they don't own up to it, so if your Thai is not to good take a friend.

If you or the place you stay at filed a TM30 (which registers a foreigner at a specific address) you should be able to file for a 60 day unable to travel extension at the immigration office in that area.
@Ming *****
did you file a TM30 saying that you now live in the area covered by that immigration office?

Then I see a trip to the immigration office to find out what you need, IF you can file a TM30 and then apply there OR if they're going to send you back to bangkok like they did

when you MOVE provinces you need a TM30 done there. That's the reason, you didn't have a TM30 filed saying you live in Samut Sakhon
