Hi. I would like to ask if I can leave the country if I have a non b single entry and come back. You think I can get a re-entry or my non b will be void and have to do it all over again?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you hold a Non-B single entry visa and wish to leave Thailand, it is essential to obtain a re-entry permit before you leave. Failing to acquire this permit will void your visa, and you will need to apply for a new one upon your return. A re-entry permit allows you to maintain your existing visa status while you are outside the country, provided you return before your visa's expiration date.
They don't care what type of visa you have that you're getting a re-entry permit on BUT remember a re-entry permit doesn't add any days to your current stay.
You were stamped in for 90 days on that visa and all a re-entry permit would do is let you leave/come back and get stamped in for that same expiration date.
Get one from the immigration office before you leave OR at the airport (if they sell them) when you're flying out
A re entry permit basically puts your visa on “hold” until you come back into the country as long as you come back in before the expiration date on the original visa (as I understand it)
unfortunately that is not correct. A single entry VISA is used the second you stamp into the country (in fact a visa doesn't let you stay in the country it's the entry stamp you get FROM the visa that lets you stay).
AND
The entry stamp is not "put on hold" when you get a re-entry permit. You still are using up days from it even when you're out of the country.
All a re-entry permit does is let you leave, come back and get stamped in for the original expiration date of your entry stamp from the visa.
