Hi guys, so I've checked in the past threads if my situation was mentioned before but couldn't find any similar cases.I have a 90 days COVID extension stamp.
The stamp is from a different province than mine.(Kanchanaburi)
It's gonna end late December and I was wondering whether I can apply for the 60 days extension in my local immigration office (Phuket)
Can I go to Phuket immigration ask for the 60 days starting from when my current stamp expires or it doesn't work like that ?
Thank

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a 90-day COVID extension stamp issued in Kanchanaburi and is seeking to know if they can apply for a 60-day extension at their local immigration office in Phuket when the current stamp expires. Comments indicate that extensions must be applied for at the registered address's immigration office, with specific concerns raised about the legitimacy and type of the original 90-day stamp.

Hmmm, :/ there is NO 90 day unable to travel due to covid extension :O
There is an "unable to travel due to medical reasons" 90 day extension.
Now the only reason a person would have that extension in their passport would be because they handed their passport and a pile of baht to someone who took it to a province where you don't live and got the extension :O
I think you're gonna run into some real issues when you show up at the Phuket immigration office with a 90 day medical extension from Kanchanaburi in your passport (especially seeing as you didn't live in that province OR go there to get the extension yourself :().
LOOK at the extension stamp you got from Kanchanaburi. IF it's because of covid it will have the "embassy request" clause #2.28 written on it, but if it was because of medical it will have the "medical extension" clause #2.25 written on it somewhere.

What was this stamp in Kanchanaburi that was valid for 90 days? Can you post a picture of it? Kanchanaburi is one of the *most* difficult offices to deal with, and they don't give out stamps easily.
