Hi everyone! I would have a question.. Are there some people who received the DTV VISA without the savings on a bank account? I have enough savings but not on a bank account... Would appreciate every answer. Thx in advance. :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The acceptance of funds for the DTV visa in Thailand can vary based on the specific embassy processing the application. While some embassies, such as American ones, may accept alternative forms of proof like stock or superannuation accounts, others might strictly require that funds be in a traditional bank account. It's advisable to check with the specific Thai embassy where the application will be submitted for their requirements.

As said before it depends on the country/thai embassy you request the DTV. No yes or no in general.

Depends on the embassy. American embassies except stock account balances whereas many others do not. Check with the embassy you will apply from.

Superannuation account is fine provided the funds are available

I’ve seen reports of GIA’s being accepted as proof of funds.

It needs to be in a bank account.

I believe people have said it must be in a bank account.
