I am currently on Koh Chang and plan to leave few days before 45 day visa exempt expires. Plan was to get 30 day extension at Laem Ngob before heading to Hua Hin.
As I will have checked out of accommodation on KC and not yet be registered in new accommodation, will this be a problem ? I have read they are strict on being correctly registered.
Also, do you need an appointment at Laem Ngob or is walk-in okay ?
Thanks in advance.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on obtaining a 30-day visa extension at Laem Ngob while having checked out of their accommodation on Koh Chang. Concerns include whether this will pose a problem regarding registration and if an appointment is needed for the immigration office. Responses suggest that having the last TM30 from the previous accommodation should suffice as long as the immigration office location aligns with the province of the TM30. It's also advised to handle the extension process early and to check with the immigration office about appointment requirements.
