ORIGINAL POSTER
My visa exempt will expire on April 18.

I’m planning to go to the immigration on Monday to extend it for another 30 days.

Is it too early to go?

I’ve read online that some are being rejected and told to come to the date their visa expires. Has anyone experienced it here?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about visiting immigration to extend their visa exempt status before its expiration. Previous comments suggest that many immigration offices in Thailand only process extension requests one to two days before the visa expires due to crowds. It's advised to check directly with the specific immigration office for their policy.

Many immigration offices ..

Like Pattaya/Jomtien, Chiang Mai and Bangkok ...now will only process extension requests when your current permission to stay date is one or two days before ending....

Due to extreme crowds.

Ask your immigration office.
