Help please . At short notice I'm hoping to come to Thailand for around 10 or 11 weeks on 5th November. Not sure how long a 60 day will take online. So if I come on a 30 day visa on arrival. Extend for 30 then fly out and back would I get another 30 days visa on arrival thankyou

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about their plan to enter Thailand using a 30-day visa on arrival, extend it for another 30 days, and then re-enter Thailand for an additional 30-day visa on arrival. Comments confirm that this plan is feasible, especially if the user's nationality qualifies for a 30-day visa exemption. They also suggest applying for a 60-day tourist visa, which can be extended, as a potentially easier option.

Better, cheaper, easier to apply for 60 day touristvisa, then extend with 30 days.

Then you can stay up to 90 days, without having to leave Thailand, and only need 1 onward ticket besides your return ticket.

You don't need any visa. You just turn up and get a free 30-day stamp, which can be extended a further 30 days.

Assuming your country gets 30 days visa exemption, then yes you have a good plan.

Airline and immigration may or may not want to see your ticket home and may or may not accept one that far out.

Decide where you will do your mini vacation and use that ticket….

Have a great time in Thailand?

Yes, you would receive another 30 day visa exempt. Also extendable by 30 days at immigration offices for 1900 baht.
