Hey, visa question. I am Canadian. I received the 45-day on arrival and extended 30 days at the immigration office. Can I extend again at the office, or will I need to do a visa run? I intend to stay until September. Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Canadian traveler who received a 45-day visa on arrival followed by a 30-day extension is inquiring about the possibility of extending their visa again at the immigration office. The community responses clarify that only one extension is permitted per entry, and the traveler is encouraged to consider a visa run or obtain a 60-day tourist visa from a neighboring country to facilitate a longer stay.
If you're wanting to stay till September you should get a 60 day Tourist visa at a neighbouring embassy. That plus a border run and extensions will get you 150 more days here.
nobody does. A visa run is going to a RTE in another country and obtaining a visa. Hence the name visa run. A border bounce is driving to a land border, stamping out, and stamping back in on a new visa exemption.
A visa run is usually referred to as when you visit a nearby consulate and buy a new visa.
I suspect you’re referring to a “border bounce” where you exit Thailand and immediately return to get a new free exempt stamp (this time it will be 30 days).
You can do two land border bounces on exempt entries in a calendar year. Perhaps you’ll get away with one more via air but no guarantee.
