Hello, a little question please:

Can I do an extension for thai family purpose 60days on a non-o visa single entry and then after this extension apply for a 1 year extension based on marriage.

I'm asking this because I do not have yet the minimum time required in my Thai bank (3month) for found 400.000b

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user asks if it's possible to first obtain a 60-day extension for family purposes on a single-entry Non-O visa, and then later apply for a 1-year extension based on marriage. Responses indicate that it is viable to apply for the 60-day extension if not previously done, and afterwards, a 1-year extension based on marriage can be pursued if the financial requirements are met. Additionally, clarification on bank seasoning requirements indicates that the funds must be held for 2 months, not 3.

NO you don't make BOTH extensions at the same time

You can either apply for the 60 day visit thai family extension OR you can apply for the year extension if you meet the financial requirements.

If you have not applied for an extension of stay based on visiting Thai family yet on this visa, you can.

> then after this extension apply for a 1 year extension based on marriage

You should be able to get a 1 year extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai national after getting a 60 day extension of stay based on visiting Thai family

>I do not have yet the minimum time required in my Thai bank (3month)

The 400K THB needs to be seasoned for 2 months, and not three months.
