Dear Thai Visa group. I have a question about NON O Visa based on marriage. Me Thai and my husband from EU stay in Thailand.
After married here we asked for NON O visa. After 3 months we got an extension of NON O for 1 year.
Now because of some family issues and work, we will relocate for 1 or more years to Europe.
My questions are:
1. It is possible to apply for NON O visa in future again? Or immigration can reject our application because
we didn´t stay in Thailand long time?
When we will decide to come back to Thailand we will ask for NON O 3 months on Thai embassy, then relocate to Thailand,
rent some home and ask for 1 year extension.
2. What about funds 400 000 THB, we have to keep in the bank all the time or just 3 months before application?
Thank you so much for any of info.
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the NON-O visa based on marriage after relocating from Thailand to Europe. They asked if reapplying for a NON-O visa in the future would be possible after not residing in Thailand for some time, and what the financial requirements related to maintaining funds in a Thai bank are. Responses confirmed that reapplication is feasible if all visa requirements are met and clarified that the required funds need to be sustained in a Thai bank account for at least two months prior to the application.
