Arrived Visa Exempt for 45 days Mar 28th from USA.

Have had my own money in my Bangkok Bank account for over 6 months. (450,000 baht).

Can I directly apply for 1yr extension based on Marriage or do I need to apply for the “90 day Non O” first and then the 1yr extension?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A person who arrived in Thailand on a visa-exempt basis cannot directly apply for a 1-year extension based on marriage. They must first secure a 90-day Non-O visa based on their marriage to a Thai national. After holding the Non-O visa and when the validity is approaching 30 days or less, they can then apply for the 1-year extension.

You cannot apply for a 1-year extension from Tourist entry. You need to apply for an initial in-country Non-O visa based on being married to a Thai National (90 days) first. Then when your stamp remains 30 days or less, apply for a 1-year extension for the same reason.
