Hello. We have a 90 days NO retirement Visa (germans). We ask at blueport immigration hua hin for 1 month extension. They can not do it there and send us to the big immigration outside hua hin and we shall bring a lot of paper, i.e. Passport foto, TM7, contract with hotel, ... did I understand this correctly?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about extending their 90-day Non-O retirement visa in Thailand but receives conflicting advice. While a representative at Huahin's Blueport immigration office directs them to a larger immigration office for a possible one-month extension, comments clarify that a 30-day extension is not available for their visa type. Instead, they may need to meet criteria for a one-year extension, which includes maintaining a minimum deposit in a Thai bank account.

PLEASE look at your Thai Visa... is it a SINGLE ENTRY NON O VISA....OR MULTIPLE ENTRY NON O VISA as RETIRED?

I just removed and banned a member (who upon profile review is also a Thai Visa Agent), who sent a PM to this poster. We DON'T ALLOW any PM message replies on posts. Especially a Visa Agent who slipped thru the membership process.

sadly it cannot be extended. It's ONLY valid for 90 days.

IF you want to stay longer, you will need to do a simple land or Air...BORDER BOUNCE. That will get you a new 30 days stamp as Visa Exempt Entry Plus it can be extended for 30 days at your local Thai Immigration office for 1900 Thai baht.

SORRY but you CANNOT get a 30 day extension of stay. You have a 90 day Non O Visa based on retirement. The only option for an extension of stay inside Thailand is for you to meet the requirements for the one year extension of stay as retired.

ASK your local Thai Immigration office for their list of requirements for the One year extension of stay as retired.

A deposit of 800,000 Thai baht must be deposited in a Thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply for the One year extension of stay as retired.

IF you don't meet the requirements for the one year extension of stay as retired, you need to leave Thailand and reenter Visa Exempt Entry which gets you 30 days STAMP on arrival plus One 30 day extension of stay at your local Thai Immigration office for 1900 Thai baht.
