Hi
I am on a OA Multi Entry visa currently in Thailand my visa expires January 20, 2022
I’m from the USA
As of November 10, 2021 I currently have 800,000 baht in my Thai bank account KBank
1. question can I change from an OA to a O visa in country ( Thailand) and when should I start The process
2. Should I just extend the OA ? I do plan on traveling in and out of Thailand when the Borders open up .

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on an OA Multi-Entry visa and inquires about the possibility of switching to a Non-O visa while still in Thailand or whether to extend the OA visa instead. Comments clarify that changing from a Non-OA to Non-O visa cannot be done within Thailand; the person must exit the country and re-enter on the desired visa type. Extensions for the OA visa are possible, and post-extension, they can apply for a Multiple Re-Entry permit.
