Hi✨ can you extend a tourist visa for a further 7 days at Chiang Mai immigration if you’ve already extended for 30? Any help with this would be great 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
It is generally not possible to extend a tourist visa for an additional 7 days in Chiang Mai after already extending it for 30 days. Any application for further extension may lead to a denial and a notice of 'application for extension denied,' granting you 7 days to leave the country. Alternatively, if you have not used all your land border bounces, consider crossing the border in Mae Sai for a visa exemption.
you read incorrectly, you can bounce out and in at the Mae Sai - Tachiliek border for a 30 day visa exempt entry as long as you do not have TWO 30 day visa exempt entries by land yet this year.
I read today that border bounces at mai sai are no longer possible? Are you sure this is still allowed? I haven’t done any border bounces this year only leaving and arriving by plane, thank you for your help🙏🏻
You would apply for an extension get denied and get an "application for extension denied" 7 days to get out of the country. It costs the same amount as all extensions do 1900baht. AND it is totally discretionary, so I would have proof that you're leaving in a week to show them when you go get it.
