Hello there. I managed to obtain a letter from my embassy regarding the current 60-day extension possibility. However, the letter states that they request the immigration to extend my visa from November 30 to December 30, even though I wrote in the e-mail that I'd like to receive 60 days. I tried to ask to edit it and waiting for further confirmation. However, does anyone know if immigration will consider this part of the letter and only extend my visa only for 30 days at the MTT office? Thanks.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether Thai immigration will grant a 60-day visa extension based on an embassy letter that incorrectly requests a 30-day extension. They have obtained a letter from their embassy regarding a potential 60-day extension but it stated a request for a 30-day extension instead. Community comments suggest that immigration may only issue a 30-day extension when presented with such letters. It is advised to apply and present the embassy letter, as the policies may vary.
